Hi there, My name is Mary and I am a high school English and Indigenous Studies teacher in the Central Okanagan. I have worked in inclusive summer camps with children and adults with a wide range of cognitive, mental and physical exceptionalities for over 9 years. Through this journey, I have worked 1:1 with individuals, as a program planner and with Reach For the Rainbow to provide supervision and support for inclusive programs. Similarly, throughout university, I volunteered with Queen's Best Buddies and supported an elderly individual with cognitive and physical needs through weekly outings and get-togethers. Being new to Kelowna, I am looking forward to continue my passion of working with exceptional folks while also exploring the beautiful Okanagan and making community connections.
