I ran a full day daycare for over ten years; I was a nanny for 5+ years; I had a before and after school care business for 8 years; I cared for both my parents as they died in place with Alzheimer’s (9 years) and COPD/dementia (4 years); I also cared for foster children with medical needs and developmental delays (outside of my home)
