Graduated as a HCA, worked with elders with disabilities, and children in family and friends children who have disabilities. I've delt with: ADHD/ADD, BPD, DID, Asthma, Autism, Insomnia, Dementia, Heart complications, Hearing Impairment, Bipolar, Wheel Chair/Walkers, Cancer, palliative patients, equipment: Sit to Stand, Lifter. Given Baths/Showers. Grooming. Some things I find is it is easier to get along with someone who also has disabilities that's trying to help, you don't feel alone and feel understood more so then someone who does not have one. We like to help, but want them to feel independent and support.
