I have been working for people with additional needs for 9 years. I started my career with elderly residents with dementia and other complex medical needs. I then worked 1-1 as a support worker for a young adult with brain injury, ADHD and a range of other medical needs. After this, I studied to become a teacher and have been qualified for five years. In both the schools I have worked at, I have taught children with a range of complex educational, behavioural and medical needs.
