I also worked for the City of Markham for 3 years in the recreation department. I worked with children between the ages of 3-15 years old. I was responsible for planning and leading various programs and activities; all while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. I also worked as a teacher’s assistant in a kindergarten classroom at Willowbrook Public School for four months. I was responsible for aiding the students with their school work and planning small learning activities. I also gained knowledge and experience by working with students with learning exceptionalities (ADHD, down syndrome and autism). I am aware that this position requires someone that is responsible, caring, optimistic, and organized.
