My experiences working in this field has made me more aware of the different barriers that someone with a visible or non visible disability has to face daily, Something as simple as getting out of bed for me can be really hard for someone else in this population. I am very grateful for the things that I can do and if I can use myself to help make someone day better I will do it in or outside of work.
