Hi there! Julie here.. I grew up with a special needs sister who I got to see struggle with the basic things in life..watching and learning from her made me passionate about this field so I went to school for developmental support worker. I graduated in 2007 and started my career with community Living, I worked for 8 years and then got offered a management position at a special needs adul day program where I worked 3 years in the evenings and on the weekends I also provided respite work to families thru the same company. I have decided that I want to be hands on again ..not in an office so here I am.
