Hi! My name is Jessica and I am 29 years old. I spent 2 years working in childcare and my last job was a position as a Support Facilitator at the YMCA of Oakville. I worked one on one with a young child with autism working on communication skills, social skills, creating visual cues, and modifying the before and after school program to promote inclusion for all children in our programs. I have 2.5 years of experience with adults with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness in day program/group home settings. A couple of those years were in an employment services position where I facilitated a series of employment skills workshops to people with mental illness and brain injuries who were working toward full rehabilitation. I enjoy working with people and enjoy planning fun activities.
