I studied gerentology when I was receiving my diploma as wells volunteered with the special needs kids throughout highschool. I didn't do this for validadtion or extra credit, its just something our class did once for cosmotology class and I found myself there every week simply because I enjoyed the kids there as well as interacting with them. I honestly learned so much more from the experience than I taught them.
