Hi there! I’m Jade, and I hold a diploma in Developmental Services Work, providing a strong foundation in supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. My education included an internship at an adult day program, where I planned and facilitated activities tailored to participants' interests, enhancing my ability to create programs that promote well-being and social interaction. I also interned as a Direct Support Worker in a residential setting, assisting with daily living operations, personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration, all while ensuring dignity and respect. Additionally, I worked in an early learning center, supporting individuals from infancy to school age, both with and without developmental disabilities. This role helped me develop skills in adapting activities to meet diverse needs. Beyond my formal training, I’m also a yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner. These roles enable me to integrate a holistic approach into my work, supporting overall well-being. My education and experience, combined with my passion for holistic wellness, equip me to positively impact those I support.
