I started working with special needs kids in a peer program in grade 6, and spent the next 8 years working a diverse range of nannying and caregiver jobs, before moving onto personal support work for kids with disabilities in the foster system. I myself have ADHD, so my interest in working with people and children with disabilities stems from a deep connection and understanding I have for neurodivergent lifestyles.
