I'm a compassionate, caring and nurturing person with years of experience working with special needs children. I have been an award winning Educational Assistant with the Halton District School Board for 10 years. I received my training in IBI/ABA in 2008 and did therapy with a client for 4 years. I obtained my Educational Assistant Certificate from Sheridan College in 2006 and my American Sign Language Pre-Interpreter Certificate from George Brown College in 2001. I'm in the process of seeking employment outside of the school board while I work towards obtaining my certification in Equine Assisted Learning. I facilitated a meditation meetup group from 2015- 2017 and my friends and family would describe me as Zen Em and Sunshine Carebear. I'm a very dedicated and passionate person who thrives on supporting and uplifting others. I'm interested in caregiving for all ages.
