I was a Special Education Teacher in the Philippines for almost 16yrs before I come to Canada. My previous employer hired me direct from the Philippines because of my experience. I was their son’s Nanny. The child has Autism and delayed speech. I worked with them for 2 1/2yrs. My main responsibility for the child was to drop him and pick him up in school.Tutor the child for at least 2hrs a day after school I’m Reading and Writing especially. I’m glad after a year the child speech improved a lot and he knows how to read already at the age 6y/o.
