Just got my Social Services Worker Diploma. Placement for 8 months with a long-term facility. Worked with an elderly couple with the CLSC before that. In my last role, I taught Home Skills to the disabled in a Non-Profit organization. Some of my duties Included doing activities with them, shopping with them as well as cooking and meal prep, transportation to and from activities, and general companionship. I built strong relationships that taught them life skills while providing an encouraging environment where they could grow as individuals to reach their full potential.
