I have at least 20 years experience as a support worker for individuals with special needs. Some of my duties included: teaching life skills, community excursions, support with home practice for other therapies (i.e. speech therapy). I have worked as a personal support worker since 2018. I have provided assistance in home care, as well as in a hospital setting. Some of the duties included: personal hygiene care, feedings, trach cleaning, assistance with exercises, patient transport within hospital/home, light housekeeping and light cooking, grocery shopping, medication pickup, and more.
