I have extensive experience in working with kids and adults with special needs. I, myself have an autistic son. He is now 17. I took courses to teach him how to speak when he was young. With that experience when he became of school age, I started to work my local community living with other adults and kids in various settings. Have experience with down syndrome and autism, as well as some behavioral challenges. I find this type of work especially gratifying, as I enjoy helping to make a positive difference in others lives. I do have alot of experience in working with seniors who have dementia and alzhiemers as well.
