I have 12 years experience working with children/teens/adults and seniors with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities. I have worked with people whose diagnosis are as follows; Autism/Asperger's Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Prader Willi Syndrome and Dual Diagnosis, such as Down Syndrome and Schizophrenia, Autism and Multiple Personality Disorder, Down Syndrome and ADHD, Chromosome 9 deficiency, and Trisomy 13. I have also worked with children who were medically fragile. I have worked in Elementary and High schools, After School Activity Programs, and as a Respite Care Provider. I have volunteered with the Special Olympics swim team and at a Summer Camp for “special needs” children. I have always loved working with people who have a diagnosis. They have a special place in my heart and I will continue working with them for as long as I am able.
