After I completed my 3 year education as a Social Care Worker in Berlin, I worked as a social worker supporting young parents experiencing crisis and/or disabilities. In this role I provided support to the whole family, I communicated with schools and social workers, organized doctors appointments and facilitated employment center meetings. Following this experience I worked for 4 years at the Leben-Lernen organization. In this role I worked in a group with 8 clients who each experience multiple disabilities (including down syndrome, Retts syndrome, autism). I provided all aspects of support-based care including; medication administration, crisis response, liaising with the clients families and friends, and facilitating social and work experiences for the clients. I am a patient and loving person who cares alot about my clients.
