Hello there, My name is Ashley, and I am 20 years old. I currently attend Humber College, studying my Bachelor of Child and Youth Care. I have a wide range of experience working with children. While I was in high school I completed two co-op placements. My first placement was with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, where I mentored 8 children. My second placement was with The Little House Residential Services in a special needs classroom. After my placement, I got hired on as a Live-In Child Care Worker. Duties included cooking, cleaning and providing emotional and therapeutic support to each of the children. Throughout my degree, I have completed a placement with Reach Out Centre for Kids and ran a Girls Talk group. I am currently an Au Pair in Karratha, Australia where I have been looking after two beautiful girls ages 7 and 12. I will be returning to Toronto in September and I am hoping to continue in this line of work once I return. I believe that I have a lot of positive qualities that I could bring to your family. I am a caring, responsible, organized and nurturing individual. I am an inspired individual looking to benefit the lives of children and their families all around the world.
