I am a highly energetic 29 year old, with strong communication skills. 2 years experience working as an educational assistant with students with exceptional needs such as students on the autism spectrum, learning disabilities, non verbal, Down syndrome, ADHD, and epilepsy. It brings me so much joy to watch the students I have worked with progress, and learn new skills such as basic cooking as well as working on school lesson plans. I have formed strong bonds with these student and have learned ways to accommodate their varying individual needs. Prior to my EA experience I worked in long term care, providing daily care such as bathing, dressing, feeding, exercises and other daily needs. I am a highly compassionate person and thrive to give the best care possible.
