I currently work at Joseph Brant Hospital while only two placements away from receiving my Educational Support Diploma. Along with my education, I have several years of volunteer experience in schools. I love helping those in need and overall help them achieve whatever they want. I worked with my own daughter when she was young (now 22), with her speech as she saw a speech pathologist for a few years. I would regularly help her at home. I worked with a 5 year old boy temporarily with his speech in a school. I worked along side a young girl who had fetal alcohol syndrome. I volunteered in a grade 6 behaviour classroom. I tutored a group of 3 grade 7 students who had developmental delays and learning challenges. I did a placement with a boy who had autism and another boy with cerebral palsy.
