About Angel

39 years old Speaks English French
Hello, My name is Angel. I am a caring, compassionate and genuine support worker who has been dedicated to providing exceptional care for over a decade. I have experience in multiple settings such as nursing homes, independent living lodges, group homes, in the community, as well as caring for my own family members with physical and intellectual disabilities. I'm looking to assist individuals with activities of daily living, personal care, doctor's appointments, homemaking, medication or respite care for families. Ensuring that the spiritual, physical comfort and safety of all individuals supported is my top priority. I have supported individuals of all ages and my availability is very flexible. I have a reliable and safe vehicle. I look forward to meeting you in person to discuss the needs of your loved ones and how I can help support them and your family as a whole. My rate starts at $27 per hour. This website only gives the option for 5$ increments after $25 per hour. Rate is dependent on services required

Short version: Angel is kind, firm & knowledgeable. I recommend her! Long version: Our 10 yo boy with autism can be non-compliant, angry & aggressive to himself, others and things. We were hesitant about having a carer come in but he immediately took to Angel! He has stranger danger and refuses to ride in unfamiliar vehicles and doesn’t like demands placed on him, but let her near, rode in her car to school and does what she asks. He can still refuse at first and yell or throw things, but she is calm and persistent and gets her way. She has exceeded my expectations! She is a great communicator with him and with family; understands philosophy of autism (lgive a limited # of choices, change is tough) and has ideas (lets sit near door to get him moving that way) which have been effective. She takes feedback well. I feel fortunate that we found her and feel safe leaving him with her which is the highest praise I can give.
