I'm a recent psychology graduate who is eager to gain experience working with children with special needs. I have four years of experience working with a family member on the spectrum. I have also worked as a co-op student with the TDSB as a teaching assistant. Throughout the years, I have learned that patience is critical when caring for children with special needs. I always work in a clean, organized environment that helps fosters a child's creativity. I will create flexible activity plans that reflect each child's interest with an emphasis on experiential learning. I'm an active listener and can provide emotional support to your child. I have standard first aid CPR/AED Level C with the Canadian Red Cross and a certificate in Principles of Healthy Child development with High Five. I love working with exceptional children and experiencing the world through their eyes. I'm an amateur baker and avid DIYer. I'm friendly, a little quirky and a child at heart.
