In my previous roles in care work, i have gained a wide range of essential skills that can benefit this position. I believe the most crucial skills i have acquired are communication, patience, empathy, and resilience. I have learned how to be patient, listen, and be supportive. Also, I learned to be professional and responsible to discharge my duties and care for my patients. From my experience, I realized that good interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working in care. The ability to listen and understand allows me to be an efficient and effective caregiver. I recall the last 4 months of my mother before her demise, I was her caregiver and this experience has further prepared me and made me strong and passionate enough to give care to the elderly' The experience of caring for my late mother, taught me how to adapt and how to manage and remain calm and positive under pressure and take on all responsibilities. Being a caregiver brings me personal satisfaction as I naturally love being helpful. My experience made me appreciate life more.
