I take pride in my ability to bond with people (young or old), and love to listen and chat about their story… because we all have one. I strive to treat people with respect and always care for friends, and treat them the way I would want to be treated . I have worked in an assistant living seniors home and spent most of my time tidying up resident rooms which lead me to getting to know the them and found myself meeting new friends and spending time getting to know them personally, with all of their needs and wants. As an example, something as simple as sitting outside or going to sit in the lobby / play cards / colour or even knitting seemed to be too much for them to do alone…most nursing homes are short staffed and the quality of care is not at the level that I would want my loved ones to experience.
