My post-Grad education consists of Medical Assistant/ Unit Clerk diploma, having graduated with honours. This was followed by a 6-week full-time practicum on the Cardiac-Surgical floor at Royal Inland Hospital, where I received intensive hands-on training with three different preceptors. (January 2016 ). This led me to excel in a full-time position as Medical Assistant to Nurse Practitioners in a busy Primary Care Clinic ( 2016 ). I also was the sole care provider for my 87-year-old Grandmother, mid-2008 to Feb. 2011, for her final few years, which I found extremely rewarding. I have enjoyed 30 + years experience in different platforms of customer service and people-centered care.
