I am a retired Registered Nurse with 29 years experience with Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock. I have significant and extensive experience working with the elderly. Most of my nursing career was in the acute and chronic care wards but also spent a number of years in Palliative Care and Cardiac step down ward. I had the privilege of working privately in-home for a wonderful 107 year old lady for 22 months ending this past June when sadly she passed away. The thing I love most about private care is I get to focus completely on my client and give the kind of care that everyone should be entitled too.
