I am a compassionate person by nature. I enjoy helping others, I am available for in home care including all aspects of daily living and personal care, I am also willing to go to facilities or hospitals for companionship and care. I have experience working with clients with dementia and clients who require Complex care. Over the past year I have been providing in home care for a client with ALS. Job duties: all aspects of daily living including personal care ( peri care, washroom , bathing, dressing, grooming,) Lifts and transfers from and to wheelchair, ROM excercises, meal/feeding assistance, Tube Feed and making tube feed blends from scratch, use of suction machine, use of Bi Pap machine and oxygen administration, dressing changes, providing ongoing support and companionship, communiting with Client effectively when she was verbal and gained communication skills when client became non verbal, Palliative care, medication and supplement administration. I like to consider myself a lifelong learner I always want to gain new skills and improve the skills I already have. I am always open to change and adapt to new situations when needed.
