Hello, my name is Skyler and I have a passion for working with the elderly. I have been working a personal support working for about 4 years on and off. I have completed courses at school in regards to elderly care. I have my cpr/first aid, full vaccinated, gentle approach certificate and clear police check. I am able to do all personal care from toileting, dressing, showering, oral care and catheter care. I am a wonderful companion as well, I focus on the client and do what they would like without needing to be on my phone. I am able to help meals and feeling. I am comfortable with pets around and not allergic. I am able to transfer clients and help with exercises for mobility. I am very knowledgeable about Dementia, Alzheimer’s and strokes. I also love curling hair and doing nails. I am very passionate about this type of work.
