I live at the Red Deer College dorm and am an RN student (first year). I have my HCA certificate and have worked as an HCA for a year. I have worked for a quadriplegic woman who also had a young family. I had to aid her with meal prep, housekeeping, and emotional support. I also have worked as a casual HCA at an assisted living facility where I assisted residents with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, medications, feeding and toileting. I also have experience with lifts, colostomy, and catheters.
