I have worked for over 20 years with families in their homes as well as my own. Although my journey started with young families, as a Nanny, Care provider and Doula, I came to realize that we need as much care, love and support as we age. I have spent the last few years supporting older adults in my family to extend the time in their homes as long as possible. I believe that aging is a difficult, but integral part of our life and I provide holistic (physical, emotional, and spiritual) care for the elderly. As an Elder Care Doula, I can care for your aging senior simply by being a companion through the aging process, as well as by providing ongoing support as well as relief support for their families. Due to the reality of the modern family structure and our increasingly challenged medical system, we need additional options to support and care for the precious, aging population. It is time to give the elderly the reverence and care they deserve.
