Hi, I am a certified PSW with 11 years of experienced taking care of clients with Dementia, including Alzheimer's, physical disabilities, and those who need assistance with activities of daily living (personal care, meal preparation, feeding, keeping active with daily routines, assistance with medication, companionship/supervision). I assist clients with exercise routines recommended by Physiotherapists or other health care providers (e.g., assisting with gentle stretches). I am warm, empathetic, patient, compassionate, dedicated and professional. I speak English and Polish, and have my own transportation. I have the following certificates: • Standard First Aid, • CPR Level C, • Food Handler, • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI), • Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) for Dementia Care, • Vulnerable Sector Police Check, • Negative TB result, • Immunizations: flu shot, Hepatitis A and B.
