Rachel provided dementia companion care to my Mom in-home, at the hospital and at her personal care home. She became a prominent person in my Mom's life and a huge source of comfort to my family. Rachel was very skilled in communicating with my Mom in ways she could understand cognitively and engaging her in meaningful activities. She was also very effective in calming/distracting my Mom during her periods of agitation.
