I'm a 56 year old experienced care give r in senior care after many years in care industry I decided to niche my career to focus on seniors and their needs. I have worked in the care industry for 18 years. 10 of those as a practical nurse and the other 8 as private live in care giver for those seniors who want to age in their homes.. I ve worked in hospitals nursing homes assisted living. Private homes and senior group homes.. I'm skilled in medication administration assisting and or reminding. Personal care., light housekeeping. Food preparation, grocery shopping,. Personal care,. Toileting, grooming., laundry, doctors appointments. Mental stimulation activities. And end of life care. I have experiance in ailments such as Cancer (most of them).Arthritis.ALS.Parkinsons.Alzheimers.Dementia. Cerebral Pulsey. Brain Injury. Stroke.MS to mention a few. I'm a team player and my experience has taught me to be a dynamic member of the interdisciplinary team. My hobbies are Nkitting. Magazine reading. Reading.. Walking. Cooking and I love out doors.. In the years working with seniors I have learnt to use some of hobbies as therapy for some seniors. I speak perfect English.
