I am writing to apply for the Caregiver position with your company. I have a strong background in providing excellent care to clients with mental health issues, elderly and post-surgery individuals. I am confident I started working in caregiving field in 2004 by volunteering in women’s psychiatric hospital . For 2 years, I assisted women with mental health issues. From 2006 to 2009, I worked hard to improve the lives of elderly community members. I assisted multiple clients with daily living activities such as, basic personal care, housekeeping, shopping and attending various appointments. In 2016 I assisted my mother-in-law who was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. From 2017 to 2020 I assisted my father-in-law while he was waiting for hip replacement surgery and until he recovered from it. I take compassionate, empathetic and patient approach to caregiving, creating a safe and comfortable environment for my clients. I am also organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that I provide the best possible care.
