Im a mother, and my mother is a mother. I have cared for residents and also clients and beyond the mere act of caregiving. It taught me to perceive aging as a chapter brimming with wisdom and stories, to embrace patience as an essential virtue, and to practice empathy as a way of understanding others deeply. Through this experience, I not only offered companionship and support to the elderly, but I also received invaluable life lessons that have forever shaped my perspective on aging, humanity, and the connections that bind us all.
