I'm currently a Nanny and am soon moving on from my position with this lovely family so first of all I am a caregiver. I took care of my elderly mother in my home for quite some time before she eventually moved into a nursing home and I continued to be an integral part of her care for a couple of years. I just finished up 6 months helping an elderly gentleman. I lived local and at times would visit twice per day. I heated up meals or waited for Meals on Wheels to arrive. I also administered his medication, basic cleaning in the kitchen and kept in close contact with his family. I provided companionship and will be given an excellent reference.
