My recent experience involves caring for my parents in my home until they passed. My background includes palliative care, managing cognitive disabilities such as Alzheimer's, and I have experience with some medical equipment. I have worked as a medic in the oil field, taught first aid, and food safety programs. In my younger days I worked with individuals with cognitive challenges and coached Special Olympics. What I offer: Personal care, housekeeping, organizing (such as tackling that neglected closet), transportation, talking about difficult subjects, crafts, hobbies. I can cook, play games, singing songs, and anything else that is moral, legal, and safe to enhance your well-being. I can also assist with physiotherapy routines prescribed by your medical team or help navigate the homecare system. If you're interested in meditation, yoga, or walks, I'm here to support you.
