I provide both in-person and virtual support for children, adults, and seniors with developmental and/or physical disabilities. We work on advocating and fostering independence, advocating for and providing leadership in the development of inclusive communities, and supporting emotional, mental, and physical growth. I use a variety of therapies to help individuals with mobility, dexterity, and communication. I also teach American Sign Language to individuals with developmental disabilities, and to stroke survivors who are working on regaining movement and dexterity in their hands. I have extensive experience in personal care with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities (cerebral palsy, parkinson’s, pallister-killian syndrome, apraxia, ataxia, stroke survivors, etc.). I have experience feeding (including with a G-tube), dressing, and toileting these individuals.
