My name is Kristy & I graduated from Georgian College with DSW & ECE diplomas. I have my own transportation and a valid G license. I hold current CPR and First Aid certificates. I am a compassionate and patient individual with over 15 years of experience providing support to families with special needs individuals, the elderly and seniors with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. I have worked in health care settings including home care, nursing and retirement homes. I currently work at an Adult Day Program and I love it. HIGHLIGHTS *I have flexible scheduling availability to include occasional weekends, evenings and special events as necessary. *Exceptional knowledge and experience supporting individuals with varying forms of Dementia and Alzheimer’s. *Engaging in social and recreational activities that meets their needs and interests. *Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating if needed. *Administering medications. I did complete a Pharmacology course as part of my DSW diploma. *Offering emotional support and companionship. *Maintain confidentiality and respecting the privacy of the individual and their family. *Provide transportation to appointments or community events if required.
