Indera worked for us for over 2 years. She took care of my father who was diagnosed with dementia. She cared for him with kindness and humour. She always made sure he was well fed (she’s a great cook), she always made sure he was clean (she bathed him, washed his hair, shaved him, made sure his clothes were clean etc.), and she always made sure he got plenty of fresh air (she took him for many walks). Indera made his final days as comfortable and as much fun as possible. She has a great sense of humour! When he had to go to the hospital, she was by his side and supported my dad and my mom. She behaved like a loving member of the family and shared her expertise on how to best advocate for his health care. She even helped organize his room and belongings. Indera (Inde as we call her) is invaluable as a caregiver and we give our highest recommendation. She made a very difficult process more bearable. She also took many videos and photos that we will cherish.
