HEALTH HYGIENE AND MAINTENANCE • Assist with ADL’s such as bathing the charge, dressing/ undressing, toileting, brushing teeth, combing hair, blow drying and curling charges’ hair. Assist in transferring the charge in and out of bed, wheelchair and or other surface/location using proper body mechanics and assistive devices. Administer required medications/medical treatments to the charge, daily recording of BP (morning and before going to bed), weight checks (as per schedule only) ACTIVITIES AND APPOINTMENTS • Organizing charge daily activities independently or under the direction of charge family member (husband/daughter). Assisting the charge in/out of the vehicle when going out to attend activities/parties. Assist and coordinating charge and family to therapy and other health care appointments MEALS • Prepare vegan vegetarian meals for the charge and family. Include Charge in meal planning, preparation and cooking. Supervise Charge’s meal including appropriate portion, serving sizes and variety of foods GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING • Laundry daily as needed including ironing and minor sewing, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting and cleaning dishes
