I moved to the area in October 2023. Prior to my move, I was a home support worker in Ontario. What I did in Ontario is similar to what a CCA does here. I have experience in elder care — including dementia care — and am able to assist in bathing, dressing, feeding, and outings. I also have experience as a child respite care worker, with experience managing feeding tubes, medications, and special needs care. Please note: I am not a certified CCA in Saskatchewan. I graduated from the Home Support Worker program through the company was employed by. I also have a 7 month old son with high needs, so I need plenty of notice for scheduling changes.
