Gained a valuable experience in Long term Care as a volunteer from May to August 2012. I always have been interested to provide care for terminally ill clients. I am always curious and applied critical thinking to solve problem for residents. I did various work as well. I am interested to assist with elimination and changed their incontinence briefs, assisted residents with dressing and accompany them to the dining room, provided partial hygiene, transported residents to the dining room for breakfast, and recorded care provided, including any relevant observation. I keep up to date about the legal limits and extent of a healthcare worker's role. I also had an opportunity to work in a Nursing Home as a student support worker and had an exposure visit with a Brain Injury Center. Now, I am working as a part-time employee of a housekeeping department.
