Hello, I am a registered and certified Health Care Aide. I have been a certified Health Care Aide for eight years and have worked in many places like Hospice, Supportive living facilities as well as done private caregiving (Home Care) throughout the Calgary and Okotoks region. I have experience working in a dementia unit and doing one on one work with behaviour mapping documentation and lots of redirecting. I am also a registered Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, with extensive knowledge on equipment, ADL modification and different exercises. I have experience with lifts, transfers and knowledge of proper safety protocols as well as experience working in speech pathology. I have done two years with Alberta Heaths Services as a Speech Assistant working on the front lines helping people with their recovery. Throughout my years I have done lots of different jobs with elderly and disabled people, this is simply the population of people I love to work with and where I want to make a difference. My strongest quality is my communication skills and ability to adapt to different environments that are especially people orientated. I am a reliable person as well as have reliable transportation.
