Hi, I have two professional experiences caring for seniors as a brokered worker with Community Care but I have plenty more years of personal experience. As primary caregiver for my mum during her battle with an aggressive cancer right up until she passed away. I helped her with bathing, eating, taking her medications as well as doing all the cooking and cleaning when necessary. I also helped take care of my elderly aunt doing the same sort of things. I am a very compassionate person and I feel it's important to provide care to people who need it, while also helping them retain their dignity and as much independence as they can.
