Hello. My name is Amanda, I am a mother and wife, adventurer and great cook but most importantly I am a caregiver. I have a strong passion for helping others. In 2014 I took the health care assistant course at NIC, I landed a job in a facility right after school. I landed another job shortly after as well working in a day program here in Campbell River where I worked with a broad range of individuals, after sustaining an injury at work I took almost a year off and homeschooled myself through a holistic nutrition/health coach program. The last time I worked in the healthcare field I worked in a residential home where I provided care for geriatric individuals and took care of all meals while planning and executing recreational activities. Just before the world shifted I stopped working at my job due to very poor management. I stepped away from the field to recharge and survive the new ways of living, I am now ready to get back at it and help make a difference. I am fully vaccinated. I am a strong team player and go above and beyond when at work.
