I am a mature, experienced caregiver committed to bring efficient and compassionate care to seniors and those with disabilities. I am returning to the work force bringing many relevant skills from previous careers in holistic health care (massage and acupuncture) and also as a teacher in B. C. Schools. More recently, I worked in group homes with youths and private home for elder, and for morning and evening routine for a quadrpelegic gentleman. I have a Physical Education/Kinesiology background in University, and able to teach regular movement and longevity exercises adapted for seniors and disabled from both the yoga and Taichi traditions. I also have 25 years of experience in therapeutic massage from both Oriental and Western traditions. Special interest and experience in End-Of-Life care, preparation and family support.
