Growing up I have had numerous pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles. My family also owns a farm where I have had the chance to interact with animals like buffaloes and emus, among others. I have also volunteered countless hours at the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in my hometown. During my time at SPCA I got the chance to take care of injured/rescue dogs which has taught me how to be sensitive when dealing with animals.
