I have been a dog owner for 13 years. I started my volunteer career in dog rescue 6 years ago. In that time I've fostered upwards of fifty dogs, of various size, breed and age. I worked within the rescue to not only foster and help rehabilitate dogs, but also as a foster coordinator and fundraising team lead. I also had a side business for dog walking and dog sitting. My passion is dogs. I am known to many as the "dog whisperer". I have also been a registered nurse for just 11 years now, and I find the skill set I have as a nurse transfers to my care for dogs. I am currently working towards shifting my career of passion (dogs) to my full time career, while utilizing and incorporating all I have learned and gained as a nurse.
